5 Things To Do While You’re Quarantined

By LubeLife Team   |   March 25, 2020

The coronavirus seems to be the only thing people are talking about these days. With over 100 countries having known cases of the virus, the real question is, is anyone safe? While introverts all over the world are celebrating this newfound isolation, it got me thinking about something very important. With the inability to have any kind of contact with someone without the risk of exposure, what can you do with all this free time?

Luckily for you, I thought ahead and prepared for this exact moment.

Here are 5 things you can do while you’re in isolation.

Netflix Binge Session

While everyone has at some point watched a full season of a show on Netflix, have you ever tried watching an entire series from start to finish? With so many amazing shows to choose from, you’re sure to find something that makes you want to grab a tub of popcorn.

Want to see people fall in love? “Love is Blind” is a great show that flips the reality dating show genre on its head.

Looking for a classic? “The West Wing” or even “The Andy Griffith Show” maybe more your speed.

Interested in a Spanish television show? “La Casa de Papel” or “Monarca” are great places to start.

Log in and go down the rabbit hole.

Learn a New Language

Raise your hand if you’ve ever made a New Year’s Resolution to learn a new language? You sit down at your computer for 5 minutes before logging into Instagram. You convince yourself that you’re only going to scroll for a few seconds and then get back to studying. Suddenly, 3 months have passed and you’re still where you started.

There’s no time like the present and no time like a quarantine to learn something new. The job market is only getting more competitive and being able to speak another language is a great advantage.

If you’re ready to expand your horizons, Duolingo and Memrise are great places to start.

Happy learning.

Learn Some Recipes

Cooking is a helpful skill to have! Whether single or in a relationship, being able to whip up a nice meal leaves you leaps and bounds ahead of those that use their microwaves. Since many people are stocking up on foods and toilet paper (still don’t understand that logic), get out your apron, reach for the salt and pepper, and turn on your stove.

Don’t know where to start? Websites like allrecipes.com or delish.com are packed with a ton of information.

Just remember, avoid any accidents at all costs by keeping flammable material as far away from your stove as possible.

Start Your Exercise Routine

One of the biggest excuses that people make when it comes to missing workouts is, “I don’t have enough time.” Although that may be a viable excuse, while you’re quarantined and “working from home”, begin your journey to the perfect summer body. Many people have a fear of gyms and become discouraged before even stepping foot in one. The best alternative is working out in the comfort of your own home.

“Wait, I can do that?”

Yes, you can!

It’s all about motivation, dedication, and creativity.

Buy A TON Of Lube

I bet you didn’t see this one coming. Hear me out. You’re stuck at home with not much to do. While all of the previous options are great, pleasuring yourself is the ultimate way to relieve a bit of stress. All you need is the right lube, a partner, and little imagination to get things hot and heavy. And for those that are too scared to even call their partner over to the party, there are certain activities you can do on your own as well.

For those wanting a recommendation, look no further than #LubeLife. Filled with everything you could think from water-based to delectable flavors of strawberry, mint chocolate chip, and watermelon, you’ll be more than prepared to take on any obstacle.

And if you’re scared to have sex or touch anyone for that matter, click here. Hopefully, it will calm your nerves.

Just jump in and get really wet.

Well, folks, we’ve come to the end of this journey. While I’m sure there are other things you could do like make sock puppets, these 5 options are a great way to get started. Coronavirus has been a little scary but I’m sure 1 year from now, some other virus will take over.

Can’t wait!
